One awkward step for MADI... One small step in a life...

Last night Madilyn Hope Heim, my youngest daughter took her first "recorded" steps. She has been trying to walk for a couple of days now. If anyone knows little kids, it is impossible to try to make sure they are safe and photography or video tape at the same time. Soooo.... Last night we decieded to make a group effort. Mommy helped her get started and pointed in the right direction and I would be the catcher/photographer... The best part is that she didn't crash and I got some photos... Afterwards we had fun family balloon time. Thanks for reading and enjoy the photos.

Wiikend...

So on Thursday my in laws came down to Maryland... We went to Assateague Island and camping this past weekend and had an amazing time. (You can see the posted pictures in other blogs). It was good to see my daughters interact with their Aunts and Oma and Opa...

But I am now sitting here watching my Father & Mother in law play the Wii. I have to say it is pretty amusing and they are having fun! Who knew that video games can bring families together??? I think I could sit here a long time. I believe this is what heaven is like. Laughter, fun, quality time, and most importantly JESUS... For now LIFE is good!!!!
