Half & Half

So I am wondering are you half empty kinda of person or half full kinda of person? I took these pictures last night. And it reminded me of the scene in the movie Signs where Mel Gibson's Character and Joaquin Phoenix are watching the TV coverage of the Aliens appearing over Mexico and have this conversation. Mel Gibson character speaking...
"
People break down into two groups. When they experience something lucky, group number one sees it as more than luck, more than coincidence. They see it as a sign, evidence, that there is someone up there, watching out for them. Group number two sees it as just pure luck. Just a happy turn of chance. I'm sure the people in group number two are looking at those fourteen lights in a very suspicious way. For them, the situation is a fifty-fifty. Could be bad, could be good. But deep down, they feel that whatever happens, they're on their own. And that fills them with fear. Yeah, there are those people. But there's a whole lot of people in group number one. When they see those fourteen lights, they're looking at a miracle. And deep down, they feel that whatever's going to happen, there will be someone there to help them. And that fills them with hope. See what you have to ask yourself is what kind of person are you? Are you the kind that sees signs, that sees miracles? Or do you believe that people just get lucky? Or, look at the question this way: Is it possible that there are no coincidences?"

I am in group one and half full kinda of person. Thanks for reading

Mirror, Mirror!

This pictures reminds me of the verse:
I Cor. 13:12-13

12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.
13 But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

"Father help me to see You."
"Please help me to see Your guiding hand in my life."
"Show me how to love people the way You love me."

"I want to follow You all the days of my life and love those who You have placed in my life, until I see You face to face" AMEN

nice day and nice ending

On Saturday my family and I(Sarah included) went to DC Zoo for some fun, sun, and good pictures. We left around 8:30 am and returned around 3:00. When we arrived at home, there was only one dog in the backyard (Watson). Coco had escaped! Well this isn't the first time that this has happened. So we started the search... and searched.... and searched....

We looked in all the usual spots, but Coco was no where to be found. Lucky for us Abby was still napping. I even asked the police on patrol if they heard of a stray dog. We asked everyone that I saw walking around or outside their house if they had seen a little brown and white dog with a pink collar. NO ONE HAD SEEN HER!!! We were getting a little nervous. Now Abby was awake and asking "Where's coco?" So Becca made some signs of a lost dog and our phone number to contact us. About 6:30 Rebecca turned to grab the signs to hang with Abby on the telephone poles and suddenly this silly little dog appeared.

This picture was taken at the beach

It is amazing that God is concerned with a three year old's heart... I am sure that He brought Coco home safe and sound. Thanks GOD... Below are some of the photos that I took at the zoo...

Yesterday

So yesterday I was outside my work and I happen to look up at the clouds. I was amazed!!! I could see the clouds expanding. I haven't ever really seen this before. I was marveling at God's awesome and wonder. Then I started to think about what the sky looked like before the flood. Since there was no rain... I am pretty sure that there wasn't any clouds either. Anyway.... I took these pictures...
